Trader Horne vinyl re-issue despatch statement.

There will be people reading this, who have no earthly idea what this about, so you will excuse a quick fill in, before we get tasty..

I took a vinyl only licence to re-issue a limited number of Trader Horne albums. I thought it would be nice to do as good a job as possible, and include replica's of the two issued singles by the band, in identical bags, and identical label print, as well as obviously using correct weight sleeves, the right laminate, and the insert as close as possible to the original.

I started this process last summer, then had 2 heart attacks, and 3 operations on my shoulder, my tough luck, nobody else's, but a fact non the less.

So there is problem 1 Problem 2 was the manufacturing, which was late, slow, and wrong, and not to the standard that I wanted. I didn't finally get all of the finished assets until January this year.

So, a few people, a few keyboard warriors by this time are getting angry. When there mum's are out, they are sending me emails from 'created' e-mail accounts, mostly blah blah blah at 123.co.uk threatening death, plague, disease etc etc. And it is a few. And I replied to every one, and posted on the forum I had done a little advertising on (that was a mistake) you would think with all the trouble of this issue I would be learning by my mistakes now, but seemingly not.

So, to garner goodwill, I decide that I will get Judy to sign copies for those who are so seriously upset at an 18 quid re-issue being late (like that's never happened before has it?) and that has taken a little time to organise...

I am busy, still suffering some medical complications, Judy has had a bereavement (human and animal form), and its late, its a handful of people who haven't got copies, and I'm sorry. At all stages, I have said anybody wanting a refund, only has to email to get one. Guess how many requests I have had? That's right. Not one. Well, one, and the guy ummed and ahhd and decided he would much rather have the record.

So, here we are, me having done 15 years in this industry, having worked with artists who have sold millions of records (and millions, and millions) being abused, threatened and hassled by people with obviously nothing better to do. And certain people now emailing the artist, with a distinctly sinister bullying tone..

Therefore, I have made the following decision. I WILL NOT BE DISPATCHING ANY MORE ISSUES OF TRADER HORNE. (Apart from to friends who have dedicated copies promised) this is what is happening next.

The remaining copies will be sent to my distributor, Universal. They will list the title, and you can buy from there if you want to, I couldn't care less.

People who have NOT received copies and have ordered, please email to this address, and this one ONLY

threissue@gmail.com, this account will be monitored daily by a member of staff, and refunds will be issued accordingly. Now, I know, I will get taken here, people who have had copies will join the bandwagon and say they haven't. Do you know what? This has been the worst experience of my commercial life, and I couldn't care how much money I lose.

Because of this, I will cease all mail order activities from the end of the month. This means no more early, numbered signed copies, no special short runs, this damages the market, and the artist, but ITS ALWAYS THE VERY TINY MINORITY that spoil it for everybody else heh?

And my 4000 transactions, 2 large e-bay accounts at 100% mean nothing to trouble causing, sad, bullying, cowardly warriors. Man up fellas, if you think I have taken you for 18 quid, then ring me, if your UK, lets arrange to meet and chat about it like men eh? instead of hiding behind blank email accounts, and bullying pensioner artists...

I have done nowt wrong, so I sleep well at night, but when the actions of a tiny few mean that friends, and artists are upset by the actions of the tiny few, then enough is enough. NO more copies, full refunds only for the few remaining orders. To this email address please, and no further correspondence will be entered into.

I'm appalled I have even had to write this, and thank you to my loyal customers, friends, colleagues and people I have no idea who they are, who have politely enquired as to the order status.

What a sad email to have had to have written, but it needed saying.

And I suppose the good side is that Judy has a new album out very soon, its very good, you'd probably enjoy it, so pass the name round the net, do my job for me. Just do me a favour? And order it from Amazon, and then tell them you are going to have them shot. From a blank e-mail address...........
